 Resolution No. ____, 2012 

 

Council Member __________________ presented the following Resolution and moved its adoption. 

WHEREAS, the City of Johnstown has commenced on the project known as North Perry Street over Cayadutta Creek Bridge Replacement Project, PIN 2753.85; and 

WHEREAS, Aecom Technical Services Northeast, Inc. was retained by the City to perform professional preliminary engineering and design services associated with this project; and 

WHEREAS, the City of Johnstown is eligible for funding under Title 23 U.S. Code that calls for the apportionment of the costs of such program; and 

WHEREAS, the City of Johnstown and the New York State Department of Transportation have executed an Agreement in which the City will receive 80% funding from the Federal Highway Administration and 15% funding from the New York State Department of Transportation; and  

WHEREAS, it is the City Engineer’s recommendation to retain Aecom Technical Services Northeast, Inc. to perform professional services for the construction management and construction inspection of the project.  

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
          RESOLVED, Aecom Technical Services Northeast, Inc. be retained to perform professional services within the scope of services and Agreement, known as Supplemental Agreement No. 2, attached hereto as Schedule “A”, with compensation not to exceed $269,518.00; and be it further 

RESOLVED, that the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized and directed to execute any and all documents associated with the project.
