2010 Street Resurfacing

INVITATION TO BID AND INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that sealed bids will be received at the Office of the undersigned City Clerk of the City of Johnstown at the City Hall, P.O. Box 160, 33-41 East Main Street, Johnstown, New York 12095 up to 10:00 a.m. in the City Clerk’s Office in the aforesaid City Hall on August 11, 2010 for a street resurfacing project within the City of Johnstown, New York. 

Prospective bidders may obtain copies of specifications and bid forms for a non-refundable fee of $5.00 at the office of the City Clerk in City Hall, Johnstown, New York, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  All bids should be plainly marked 2010 STREET RESURFACING PROJECT on the outside of the envelope. All bids should be returned intact either personally to the City Clerk and receipt obtained or by registered or certified mail with return receipt requested. A complete set of specifications will be given to the successful bidder. 

All bids will be publicly opened and read at 10:00 a.m. in the City Clerk’s Office of the City of Johnstown in the aforesaid City Hall on August 11, 2010 by the City Clerk and City Engineer. 

Attention of bidders is called to the fact that the Contract includes acceptance of an immunity waiver as required by Sections 103-A and 103-B of the General Municipal Law of New York State, if awarded said Contract. 

The City of Johnstown reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids.

 2010 Surplus Millings

Prospective bidders may obtain copies of the bid packet and bid form at the office of the City Clerk in City Hall, Johnstown, New York, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  All bids should be plainly marked SURPLUS ASPHALT CONCRETE MILLINGS AUCTION on the outside of the envelope. All bids should be returned intact either personally to the City Clerk and receipt obtained or by registered or certified mail with return receipt requested.
