            Council Member ____________________ presented the following Resolution and moved its adoption

STATE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY REVIEW ACT (SEQRA) RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JOHNSTOWN, FULTON COUNTY, NEW YORK FOR THE NORTH PERRY STREET BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT

Recitals

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Johnstown, in Fulton County, New York (herein called the “City”) has determined to undertake the reconstruction of the North Perry Street Bridge, at an estimated maximum cost of $2,408,500; and

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City has reviewed the potential environmental impacts associated with said project; and

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City declares itself lead agency, determines the proposed project is a Type I Action pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), constituting Article 8 of the Environmental Conservation Law and 6 N.Y.C.R.R., Regulations Part 617.5 (C); due consideration has been given to the impact that the project may have on the environment; on the basis of such consideration, the Common Council has found that no substantial adverse environmental impact will be caused thereby; and a duly executed Negative Declaration and/or other applicable documentation has been or will be filed in the office of the City Clerk.

The adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by ______________________________ and duly put to a vote on roll call, which resulted as follows:
