Minutes of the May 6, 2008 meeting were approved with a motion from Mr. Kortz and seconded by Mrs. White.  Motion carried.

SACANDAGA STOVE & CHIMNEY – would like permission to erect a storage shed on property owned by Amy French of the Johnstown Animal Clinic. Sacandaga Stove & Chimney owner, Joshua Mormile, is renting retail space for his business in the building next door to the animal clinic. The storage shed would have a door on each side and be used for storing a backhoe and pellets. He would be leasing the space for the shed from Dr. French.

Chairman Smith said that since this project is within 500 feet of the state highway it must be referred to the Fulton County Planning Board for their input. He sees no problems with approving this project. Final approval could be made at the next meeting, July 1, 2008. Mr. Kortz will see that Attorney Johnson sends out the referral to the County Planning Board Chairman in time for their June meeting.

Chief Heberer said Mr. Mormile will be receiving his certificate of occupancy for the store tomorrow.

A motion to adjourn was made by Mrs. White and seconded by Mr. Ackerknecht.  Motion carried.

Respectfully submitted,

Cathy A. VanAlstyne
