Resolution No. _____, 2012 

Council Member                                                  presented the following Resolution and moved its adoption. 

WHEREAS, it is necessary to construct a replacement pipe bridge for the Madison Avenue Sanitary Sewer Crossing over Cayadutta Creek; and 

            WHEREAS, a design for the pipe bridge and related sanitary sewer improvements has been completed by the City’s consultant, Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., and submitted to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for approval; and 

WHEREAS, sealed written bids for the construction of a replacement bridge for the Madison Avenue Sanitary Sewer Crossing over Cayadutta Creek were opened on March 26, 2012; and 

WHEREAS, the following bids were received, annexed hereto as Schedule “A”     

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED, that the City hereby accepts the following bid:

 and be it further                                                

RESOLVED, the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to execute a contract with D.H. Smith Company, Inc. for the construction of a replacement bridge for the Madison Avenue Sanitary Sewer Crossing over Cayadutta Creek.
