Resolution No. _______, 2012 

 

            Council Member ____________________ presented the following Resolution and moved its adoption. 

            WHEREAS, the City has a surplus of asphalt concrete millings generated from its annual street resurfacing program; and 

            WHEREAS, it is the judgment of the City that the best use of this material is to offer same for sale to the public. 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT

            RESOLVED, that the City will hereby solicit sealed written proposals for the purchase and use of said asphalt concrete millings; and be it further 

            RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized and directed to advertise three times in the Leader-Herald, the official newspaper of the City of Johnstown, that the City is soliciting sealed written proposals for the sale of asphalt concrete millings. Said proposals to be publicly opened by the City Clerk and the City Engineer on the 11^th day of May, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, Johnstown, New York. The City hereby reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
