Resolution No. _______, 2012 

 

            Council Member ____________________ presented the following Resolution and moved its adoption. 

            WHEREAS, the City has acquired certain vehicles and equipment which have since become obsolete.  

            WHEREAS, it is the judgment of the City that the best use of the City vehicles and equipment is to offer same for sale to the public. 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT    

          RESOLVED, that the City will hereby solicit sealed written proposals for the purchase and use of said vehicles and equipment; and be it further 

            RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized and directed to advertise once in the Leader-Herald, the official newspaper of the City of Johnstown, that the City is soliciting sealed written proposals for the sale and disposition of the vehicles and equipment listed. Said proposal to be publicly opened by the City Clerk and the City Engineer on the 30^th of May, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, Johnstown, New York. The City hereby reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
